Fund Accounting Manager - Remote

My client is seeking to hire a Remote Fund Accounting Manager. As a forward-thinking organization known for delivering high-quality services, they offer an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships, working closely with the Fund Accounting Director to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Oversee the fund accounting team, ensuring operations adhere to a defined control environment.
• Supervise and develop client teams of up to 10 employees.
• Resolve escalated fund accounting queries and ensure timely resolution of aged items in cash and position reconciliations.
• Review daily and monthly NAV calculations, fee calculations, and profit and loss allocations.
• Enhance NAV calculation workflows and procedures.
• Review fund performance on a monthly, yearly, and inception-to-date basis.
• Manage the fund audit process, ensuring timely completion and preparation of financial statements.
• Handle accounting implications of new products and oversee client onboarding and transitions.
• Participate in fund accounting training development and presentation.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of the fund accounting team.
• Resolve complex client issues and manage special projects as assigned.
• Establish effective relationships with departments like Investor Services, Quality Assurance, Client Servicing, and Compliance

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5 years' experience in Hedge Fund Administration, with at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Business.
• Pursuing or holding a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong IT literacy and adaptability in managing a client-focused structure.
