Job Title: HR Director

Position Overview:


On their behalf we are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Director to lead and elevate our HR function. You will form part of the company senior leadership and will oversee a well-established HR team. This role requires a leader who can guide the HR function into a highly visible, efficient, and impactful division.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the organisation’s business objectives.
  • Drive cultural transformation to elevate employee engagement, inclusivity, and performance.


  • HR Function Evolution:
  • Evaluate and improve existing HR processes and systems to create a fully integrated and efficient HR department.
  • Champion the visibility of HR as a service, ensuring it is embedded within all operational areas of the business.


  • Operational Excellence:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across food production, procurement, logistics, IT, and finance to optimise workforce efficiency, especially across shift operations.
  • Utilise commercial awareness to ensure the HR function contributes to overall business performance.


  • Team Leadership:
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and development to the HR team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment strategies are in place for current and future workforce needs.


  • HR Policies and Compliance:
  • Oversee the implementation and adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Manage employee relations, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company values.


  • Change Management:
  • Act as a key driver for organisational change, leading initiatives that improve processes, culture, and overall employee experience.


Key Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a multinational or complex operational environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of evolving and transforming HR departments into high-performing divisions.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and engagement.
  • Experience working within industries such as food production, logistics, or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach with a passion for driving positive cultural change.


What We Offer:


  • Salary up to €125,000 basic
