Role Summary:

As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for overseeing, leading and monitoring the smooth running of your allocated stores. You will be responsible for the overall KPI performance of the stores in your area. Maximising sales and leading top talent in the stores will be your key objective. We are looking for a hands on and proactive retailer who enjoys working closely with all levels of our store teams. You will be responsible for instilling our core values and commitments to each and every member of your team. You will have a positive attitude, strong ability to foster good working relationships, possess excellent communications skills and thrive on working in a fast-paced energetic environment.


Role Responsibilities:

Commercial Influencer:


  • Conduct regular store visits, completing store visit reports and activate the information collected in the form of an action plan to influence sales KPIs.
  • Promote and ensure stores are delivering superior Customer Service .
  • Identify commercial opportunities to maximise sales.
  • Ensuring your stores execute merchandise strategies, including campaign and presentation.


People Leadership:


  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent.
  • Devise robust succession management plans identifying areas for development and improvement.
  • Motivate and inspire teams.


Store Profitability:


  • Create initiatives to maximise profitability within stores focusing on payroll, stock loss and controllable costs.
  • Manage and monitor store payroll budgets taking all external and internal forces into consideration in line with trading conditions.
  • Set and communicate realistic store sales targets and ensure they are achieved through individual management & team targets.
  • Maintaining an elevated focus on achieving sales and conversion targets and ensuring consistent and sustainable sales growth


Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • Experience of running large turnover stores or a cluster of stores resulting in large turnover
  • 5 years’ previous area/region management experience is an advantage.
  • Large multi-site fashion or sports retail experience at least 4 years’ experience in a management role
  • Full clean driving license

  • A high level of retail Commercial Awareness integrated with a good sense of Business Acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and commercial acumen with a focus on driving growth and generating profit.
  • Highly organized with robust planning ability with this competence to multi-task while performing under pressure.
