Specified Purpose Full Time Post - Bray, Co. Wicklow (Hybrid)
Reference HR-MC01.080125- Core hours Monday – Friday (based on a 35 hours per week)
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join a busy & dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will join as a senior member of the team, managing ER services delivery, handling ER caseload and leading projects in accordance with applicable laws/regulations and good practice.
Key Responsibilities:
· Management of the HR needs of assigned internal clients service groups & support departments.
· Provide Single Point of Contact and HR leadership to dedicated Operations Managers and their PIC Group in staffing, performance management, talent management, legal/regulatory compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, and all HR matters.
· Seek, consider, and apply legal advice and guidance on employee relations cases, partnering with HR management as required.
· Conduct and manage investigations of complaints and concerns.
· Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, engagement and retention and implement improvement programs.
· Ensure HR services are compliant with all applicable legal, health & safety, regulatory and accreditation standards, and requirements.
· Contribute to skills development in HR.
· Undertake any other duties as may requested by the HR Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
Applicants must have:
· Degree/Higher Degree in a HR Discipline.
· Significant experience in a HR generalist role.
· Experience in employee relations case management.
· Exposure to all elements of HR practice: workforce planning/recruitment, HR skills training & development, performance management, talent management, succession planning, culture management, employee engagement & retention, HR data management, redeployment & redundancy programs
· Ability to work independently
· Thorough knowledge of employment law and applicable regulations
· Appreciation of HR management theories, trends & practice.
· Ability to working independently.
· Ambition to develop career within HR field with a commitment to self-development and growth.
· Strong analysis and decision-making abilities and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable: CIPD recognition has been obtained
Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid as per Clerical Grade 6 of the HSE consolidated pay scales. (Oct 2024)
