About us
Over the next two decades billions of euro will be invested in housing and infrastructure. Underpinning this investment is the soon to be published revised National Planning Framework, some of which we've already heard about, namely the new housing targets averaging out at just over 50,000 a year up to 2030. The framework will emphasise the goal of " compact” development, with more people living closer to city and town centres. Building this housing amid cost, labour and planning pressures will be the key challenges facing Irish homebuilders. Crucial to our success in delivering these homes is a ramped-up supply of the raw materials of the building trade: Zoned and serviced land ready for development. Going into its 6th year, the IHBA’s annual summit explores these key factors and challenges offering insights and solutions to advance best practices in housing development. Where innovation and pragmatic solutions meet, our event offers collaboration, best practice learning and the conversations needed to achieve as an industry.
