Cyvers recently detected a $9.5M exploit on ZkLend. ZkLend offered the hacker a 10% bounty ($950K) to return the stolen funds, promising no legal action if they comply. This “exploit bounty” strategy rewards hackers for returning stolen assets, shielding them from legal consequences. The question is how sustainable and effective this approach is in the long run.
