This is what happens when our customers start implementing the Loyalty management functionalities we've been building for them.
A couple of months ago, one of our customers implemented a welcome bonus campaign for first-time app users. The campaign is very simple - it automatically offers a modest voucher that covers a small fraction of the first order for new members. The results were surprisingly impressive: the conversion rate from registration to first order increased by 40% in the first month (15 percentage points) and continued to grow in the second month. This is a perfect example of the Pareto principle in action—a small, focused effort leads to disproportional results. Love seeing how our system directly impacts our customers' business.

Just recently, our beloved customer Wasabi Sushi opened a new branch in Tel Aviv. This is their 9th location in Israel, and they have very ambitious plans to grow further. Should you push your loyalty program users to online ordering only? The trend was starting to gain traction a couple of years ago – after all, online guests tend to have higher check average, and once you have them place just one order successfully, the probability of repeat purchase is extremely high. Not so fast, according to the 𝗣𝗔𝗥-𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. A share of loyalty guests ordering online has been steadily growing over the years, followed by truly explosive COVID period growth. Yet, interesting news for 2023? The number of guests ordering “𝗶𝗻-𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆” bounced back up and is again close to pre-pandemic levels. In-store and “𝗼𝗺𝗻𝗶-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹” guests (meaning guests who mix up their ordering methods) continue to represent 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟳𝟱% of the total. Small change big difference - this week, we improved our online ordering system by adding an ability to set "Sold by weight" for certain menu items. Once this option is selected a customer is warned that the final weight of the product may vary and that additional charge may apply. The seller at the same time has an ability to adjust the final weight so that the customer would automatically be charged the difference. #onlineordering #delivapp
