🚀Die #Gesundheitswirtschaft hat das Potenzial, für die deutsche #Wirtschaft in #Zukunft eine ähnlich starke Rolle zu spielen wie die Automobil- oder Chemieindustrie. 🌐 Das betonen Michael Kaschke, ehemaliger Vorstand der Carl Zeiss Meditec AG und Präsident des Stifterverbandes, und Helmholtz-Präsident Otmar D. Wiestler in einem #Gastbeitrag in der Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. ❗Die Herausforderung: In der #Politik wird die Gesundheitswirtschaft noch immer unterschätzt und erhält im Vergleich zu anderen Branchen zu wenig #Aufmerksamkeit als Zukunftsfeld. Kaschke und Wiestler fordern daher, das Thema in den Fokus künftiger #Koalitionsverhandlungen zu rücken und konkrete Maßnahmen zu ergreifen:   ➡️ Abbau regulatorischer Hürden  ➡️ Vorantreiben der digitalen Transformation ➡️ Aufbau von Spitzenclustern zur Förderung von Innovationen ➡️ Fokus auf Prävention statt auf Reparaturmedizin ➡️ Förderung von Talenten, besonders in den Bereichen Datenmanagement und digitale Technologien ❗Die Forderung: Um die genannten Punkte auszuarbeiten, bedarf es einer nationalen Initiative, die den Gesundheitssektor gezielt stärkt. Von der Präzisionsmedizin über die Entwicklung neuer Materialien bis hin zur Bekämpfung des Klimawandels – KI ist der Schlüssel zu einem Goldenen Zeitalter der Forschung. 🔑 Herausragende Erfolge: #AlphaFold löste das jahrzehntealte Rätsel der Proteinstruktur – eine Grundlage, die biomedizinische Innovationen beschleunigt.
