The event began in the Mamilla Hotel, where initially our distinguished guests were presented with the plans for Mamilla Hotel's new suites building, due to open in the near future. Following, a gala dinner was exclusively prepared by our Executive Chef and served on the terrace of one of the David Citadel's Presidential Suites, with an unparalleled and breathtaking view of the Old City Walls, David's Tower and Jaffa gate. The David Citadel Hotel had the great pleasure and honor of hosting members of New York’s Kehilath Jeshurun and Rabbi Joshua Lookstein for their 12th Passover holiday with us. 🇮🇱🇺🇸 Reinforcing their bonds with Israel and Jerusalem, they enjoyed a meaningful communal Seder of over 130 people, visited historic sites and met with wounded soldiers. As Rabbi Lookstein said, 'We are here to show Israelis: American Jews stand with you. Together, we'll win!'" And indeed, this very special Israel experience both strengthened the Kehilath Jeshurun community as well as giving us strength too, here in Jerusalem.
