The Cabinet Office wants to hear the views of commercial property occupiers on the Island to help inform future planning policies. Information gathered by the Commercial Property Survey 2024 will create an evidence base with details about a property, how it is used, its condition, and car parking. The survey is open to all businesses. Views are also wanted on future ambitions for businesses, factors that will matter most to a business about its location during the next five years, and if buildings are fitted with energy-saving technology. The government wants to ensure the right opportunities in the best locations are created for businesses during the next ten to 15 years. The evidence base will support work on drafting the Island Development Plan. Development plans provide the general policy for deciding planning applications that align with the goals and outcomes of Our Island Plan. - Complete the survey online at https://lnkd.in/eY_DPQx8 - Some businesses in certain locations may receive a letter - Completing the questionnaire is voluntary - It should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to answer all the questions - The survey is confidential and no personal information is required.
