  • 📢 Minimum Wage Update – Chamber Welcomes Revised Proposals Isle of Man Chamber welcomes the revised minimum wage proposals announced by the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise yesterday. After raising concerns about the potential impact on businesses, we are pleased that Government has listened and adjusted the approach. While the increase from April 1st will still add to business costs, the deferral of the October rise and the commitment to reviewing wage-setting methodology are positive steps. However, we believe long-term solutions—such as increasing tax thresholds for lower-paid workers—should also be explored to reduce pressure on businesses while supporting workers. Chamber will continue to work with Government to ensure a balanced approach that supports both employees and employers. 🔗 Read our full statement here: https://lnkd.in/e9rJDHin
