I felt the same when I met Shri Vijoy Prakash Ji, Former Chief Secretary of Bihar, who currently serves as Chairman of Bihar Vidyapith and Chairman-cum-CEO of Atal Incubation Centre AIC - Bihar Vidyapith in Patna, Bihar. For the past two decades, he has been dedicated to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Bihar and has relentlessly advocated for a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Under his leadership, AICBV has supported nearly 100 startups, guiding them from the ideation stage to scaling up while providing crucial lab-to-market access. During our visit, he engaged with our participants, inspiring them through wonderful interactive sessions that extended late into the evening. His ability to explain complex concepts in simple, relatable terms during the scheduled Incubation Visit to AICBV was truly phenomenal and motivating. Thank you so much sir! A heartfelt appreciation to his team, especially Pramod Karn Ji, Rajnish Ji, Payel Ji, and the entire supporting staff of AICBV Foundation, for their support. Hosting around 70 participants from different states, they ensured a memorable learning experience, helping them understand the functions and facilities available at the Incubation Centre and how they can leverage them for their own ventures. Additionally, I am grateful for the opportunity to witness Bihar’s glorious history, especially the contributions of Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Mahatma Gandhi, through a guided museum visit on the 100+ years old Bihar Vidyapith campus. Under the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp, 69 students from CIMP visited AIC Bihar Vidyapith on 19th February 2025. Our Chairman-cum-CEO, Shri. Vijoy Prakash IAS (Retd.), enlightened the students on entrepreneurship and explained the role of an incubation center with an insightful analogy. He compared an incubator’s role to a startup with a mother’s nurturing role during pregnancy or a hen's care over eggs, as it provides the necessary environment for growth and development. Just like a mother protects, nourishes, and supports her child before birth, an incubator offers startups mentorship, funding, office space, and guidance, ensuring they successfully “hatch” into self-sustaining businesses.
