The 7th edition of the Environment and Nature Quiz 2024 concluded with the Finale recently! This event reflects our commitment to Biodiversity Conservation and aims to amplify the importance of biological diversity and to bring environmental behavioral change amongst the youth, who are going to build a #sustainable future.   Twelve outstanding college teams from 6 states (Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu), fought it out in the finale; St Joseph College, Andhra Pradesh emerged victorious in the 7th edition of Environment and Nature Quiz 2024.   In her address, Rinika Grover urged students to take a pledge to contribute towards reducing their individual carbon footprints by adopting responsible energy consumption methods in their day-to-day activities. Since 2018, Apollo Tyres has hosted the inter-state 'Environment and Nature Quiz,' involving over 140 colleges and more than 280 students. This initiative enhances awareness of environmental issues while developing participants’ research, critical thinking, and resilience, equipping them to bring positive changes in their communities.   #ApolloTyres #GoTheDistance

We successfully completed the 4th batch of ATQM Problem Solving Approach (APSA) training recently, led by Sunil Kapoor from TQMI and supported by Akshay Bhargav, which saw 25 participants from six functions: Commercial – India, Procurement, IT, Logistics, IMS and Accounts & Taxation. APSA, based on the O+PDCA principle, is a unique initiative aimed at fostering continuous improvement and a culture of excellence. During the session, participants gained valuable insights into the 8-step APSA process, enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on exercises and discussions. The practical knowledge gained will help participants apply ATQM tools to achieve functional goals and contribute to Apollo Tyres’ ongoing journey towards excellence. #ApolloTyres #GoTheDistance #ATQM

We are pleased to announce the unveiling of the first-ever Mangrove Park in Ernakulam, Kerala located in the picturesque panchayat of Elamkunnapuzha on Vypeen. This 6-acre park, featuring captivating, interconnected islands and serene walkways, is surrounded by sustainable fish farms adding to the ecological significance of this park, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and conservation supporters. The first phase of the park’s restoration, by Apollo Tyres Foundation, focuses on four islands (under 2 acres) by removing invasive species and silt, while also protecting the habitat of the vulnerable smooth-coated otters. This phase will also include the restoration of connecting bridges to ensure safe visitor access and enhance appreciation for this vital ecosystem. #ApolloTyres #Sustainability #MangroveConservation
