In a nod to Kannada Rajyotsava, our office transformed into vibrant reds and yellows as team members donned traditional attire and participated in the lineup of events during the day. The celebration included a treasure hunt, a quiz on local culture, an engaging talk on Bangalore's history by Mr. Dharmendra Kumar, and the viewing of 'Wild Karnataka' showcasing the state’s natural beauty. Adding to the day's festivities, a surprise flash mob and a group song by our Kannadiga team members truly lit up the atmosphere, bringing everyone together in a heartwarming display of talent. We also hosted an open mic session for sharing personal stories and showcasing diverse talents, making the day even more memorable. Complementing these moments, dishes from different parts of Karnataka were served during lunch and evening snacks, aligning with the cultural theme and satiating our taste for traditional flavours. The word ‘MOSAIC’ is put in brackets to hint at inclusiveness and to show that all the letters are part of a single unit. The opening and closing brackets themselves are different from each other, hinting at diversity. Step into a room where it's totally okay to just be yourself—worries, joys, and everything in between. That's what it felt like at The Boring Conference's latest session. With some prodding from psychologist Tanvi Nair, we went beyond the surface, answering tough questions about mental health and the silence that often surrounds it. During the session, we peeled back the layers on how society views mental health and how we, as individuals, navigate our own mental health challenges. Tanvi led us through exercises that were not just engaging but also made us pause and think about our own experiences with mental health, our strengths, and the hurdles we face. This session was a significant step toward changing how we discuss and view mental health at Ather, stressing the importance of open and honest conversations, no matter how daunting they may seem. The highlight of the session was the openness of our team members who stepped forward to share their personal stories. Here's to more understanding, less stigma, and stronger connections as we continue our journey toward better mental health together. At Ather, our team’s well-being is a top priority. That’s why we are pleased to strengthen this commitment through our partnership with YourDOST, a key component of our Employee Assistance Program.
