Looking for a 6 months Startup Generalist Intern (on-site in Hyderabad, paid internship) to help us set up the foundation of AuraX. (All backgrounds are welcome, if you know the job) There is a lot of work on sales, documentation & more which requires a solid ownership mindset, empathy & energy. The best fit would be someone who sees himself/ herself in startups as their long-term career option at leadership roles. (Full JD in the link in comments) For context on us - We have recently been funded by CIE IIIT Hyderabad & received grants from NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. We are pivoting & are still in the early stages of setting up a solid founding team. For more clarity: 1. It is a full-time in-office role based out of Hyderabad. If you're a student, only apply if your college allows it or you can manage the workload alongside college. 2. If you have any background of leadership roles or tasks that you've owned (sports, college clubs, work ex or have built your own thing) that is preferred. 3. If you have been the top 1% performer in any field (sports/ acads/ extra-curricular etc.) - do highlight the application. (Not mandatory if you haven't, there's still a long way). 4. The stipend will range from 20k-30k/ month. Imagine dropping out of college to chase a dream. Scary, right? Well, that’s exactly what Rahul did—and now, he’s the founder of AuraX, a startup that’s changing the game in home decor with augmented reality (AR)! Rahul Khatri realized early on that balancing VIT and his passion for AuraX wasn’t going well together. So, he took the risk and dropped out to focus solely on building. AuraX allows home decor businesses to showcase their products in AR, letting customers visualize furniture and decor in their own homes before they even click “buy.” Hard work and smart moves paid off when he secured a grant from the government of India. He was also selected for incubation at NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore & T-Hub that turn his dream into reality. Not everyone gets this level of support, but Rahul’s persistence made it happen! So, how did he crack the market? Rahul knew his audience—small home decor and handicraft businesses. He started by offering free trials to prove how effective AuraX is. Once these companies saw how they could boost sales with AR, they were hooked! 𝐀𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐳𝐳 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥! 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐒𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐋, 𝐈𝐈𝐌 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 The best part, not as a #student but as a #founder! I got selected in the Campus Founders program amongst the top 18 startups, finely selected throughout the country. Out of all the 923 incubators in #India, AuraX is now incubated in NSRCEL located in IIM Bangalore, NSRCEL is India's #1 incubator by number of startups incubated. Earlier this year we were also incubated in T-Hub which stands at #1 #incubator as per cumulative funding raised by incubated startups & #3 by number of #startups incubated. I flew down to #Bangalore for 3 days where our incubation cohort started with a banger bootcamp by the NSRCEL team, Akshay Bapte Srichandra T Aarzoo Jain Saranya Anand Gauri Parate Vaikunt Prasad.
