We’re Hiring: Sr. BIM Consultant
Are you passionate about transforming design and construction workflows with cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) expertise?
Location: Ahmedabad - On-site (Client Office)
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's BIM strategy in alignment with Healthcare project goals.
• Coordinate the creation and management of project-specific documents such as AIR, PIR, EIR, and OIR.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Providing BIM support to clients and consultants. This may include answering questions, providing training, and helping to resolve issues.
• Lead and mentor the BIM team, ensuring upskilling and continuous professional development.
• Facilitate collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders through integrated BIM processes.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models for all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and client requirements.
• Manage and administer BIM software tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, etc.).
• Establish and manage the CDE to facilitate collaboration, data sharing, and compliance with ISO 19650 standards.
• Ensure data governance, version control, and accessibility of project information through the CDE.
• Explore and implement emerging BIM technologies, such as 4D/5D modelling, VR/AR, and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry-specific BIM standards.
• Staying up to date on the latest BIM trends and technologies to ensure that the design office is using the most effective BIM tools and techniques.
• Provide periodic updates on BIM progress, model integrity, and compliance issues.
• Conduct clash detection, model audits, and quality checks to identify and resolve design conflicts early.
• Manage and comply with Cobie and Asset register requirements of the project. Manage the design team to deliver this requirement.
Qualifications:
• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in BIM management, with a strong focus on healthcare projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD, and other BIM/IDD tools.
• Familiarity with project management software like Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Autodesk Certified Professional, BuildingSMART certification, or other BIM/IDD-related credentials are preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare-specific regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
