Did you know the world’s first Robo Chef for homes is built by a BITS alumnus? That's exactly what surprised us when we saw NOSH in action at startup enclave by BITS Spark and BITSAA Bangalore. Who would have thought that “ghar jaisa khana” could be achieved without toiling in the kitchen for hours? Nosh, an autonomous home cooking robot, brings together precision engineering and traditional cooking techniques to deliver authentic, home-style meals and multi-cuisine dishes effortlessly: convenience without compromise. The Nosh team has cracked something truly remarkable, addressing a real need for those who crave personalized fresh meals but are tired of juggling between expensive and unhealthy takeout or time-consuming cooking — a shining example of how innovation and engineering can solve everyday problems in extraordinary ways. What stood out the most were the reactions from alumni who savoured the food - “It tastes so good that that I would never imagine a robot cooked it if I wouldn't have seen it live myself!”, said one alumnus who has tried everything from meal subscriptions to takeout and craves for food as per her taste.
