Change With One Foundation

This month is going to be challenging for Change With One Meal. We needed Rs.9 lakhs this month to pay all our bills, but so far we have raised only Rs.1.5 lakh. We do have few monthly confirmed commitments but even with that we won’t be able meet even 50% of our targets. Running a setup like ours is not easy and whoever started this are either closed or serving occasionally or have decreased quantity. Whereas we are still operational, serve more meals, every single day (without off) and earning thousand of blessings. Many people reach out to us and offer to donate huge amount of money via unethical ways, but we refused every single time. We might fail to raise enough funds every now and then, but our passion to serve healthy, hygienic and tasty food won’t fail ever. We are ready to take personal loans, mortgage things and even happily cease to exist… BUT won’t compromise on the value and trust people (our supporters and beneficiaries) have in our work. Many people suggest us to increase the amount or use different channels to sell our meals. But I humbly request them all to visit any day and hear hundreds of stories where you will find this initiative making sense. Even if not financially, at least morally, socially, ethically and emotionally for sure. Rs.750 is all it takes to feed one person whole month at #ChangeWithOneMeal. Last week I had the long pending meeting with one of the very few people on this planet, who I envy ... 🙂 I envy Kiran Verma for two reasons. He has already done, what has been my dream since decades - 1. Walk the length of India like a Faqeer. 🙏 2. Be HIS channel to provide food for hundreds of needy for only Rs. 10, everyday. Kiran - It was incredible to finally meet you after my association with Change With One Meal that started few years back. My respect to you for what all you are doing for humankind. With your permission, I will share your great work over next few posts with my network. Through you and ruby Di, I at least get an opportunity to fulfill my second wish to some extent. I don't know when I will get to walk across India. Maybe, will walk the lenght of Singapore now to fulfill Dream No. 1. 😉 The man who feeds hundreds every day, I got a chance offer him one bite from my hands. 😀 Presented him a copy of my first book "Faqeera Chal Chala Chal®". Who can be a better embodiment of this title😊 The cost of one meal for one person for one month is INR 750. There are more than 63 districts in India with NO blood bank (based on 2021 report). The current number of such districts would be higher due to recent creation of new districts in India. Most of the people die waiting for blood in these districts due to inaccessibility. More than 12,000 people dies waiting for blood EVERY SINGLE DAY in India as the country is facing shortage of atleast 4 million new blood donors annually. We at Simply Blood can’t solve all these problems alone and thats why we are taking one step at a time. 1) The first one step we took in 2017 was to create a platform which can be used to aggregate blood donors from all across the nation and that’s how we created #SimplyBlood. We saw that even after creating world’s third largest online community of blood donors after #Friends2Support and American #RedCross, we could only save around 70,000 potential lives. We failed to get overall success rate of more that 22-25% and we found that there is a lack of awareness among people. 2) Then to create a mass awareness, I personally walked (walk is still on) more than 21,000 across 22 states/UT in around 28 months. My posts or message or appeal to #donateblood reached out to around 200 million people online and around 2 million offline. 150+ blood donation camps were organised and more than 50,000 people donated blood during my walk. Then I saw there are many places which can’t be reached by road as quickly as we can in urban areas (like Northeastern states). 3) So, here we are at Change With One Foundation joining hands with TSAW Drones To connect all the districts with NO blood bank across India through drones to deliver blood. This partnership or association is going to revolutionise the whole blood donation ecosystem with #TSAWDrones’ ground breaking technology. We are going to start our services soon in NorthEastern states. “Nobody will die waiting for blood in India after 31st December 2025” That’s our commitment to #India When we fail reach there by walking, we will run. When we will fail to reach by running, we will fly. And here we are… soon going to fly and #SaveLives in places where our government fails.
