Nobody will die waiting for blood in India after 31st December 2025. We are committed to reach this goal.

About us

Simply Blood, an initiative by Change With One Foundation. It was launched as World's first Virtual Blood Donation Platform on 29th January 2017. Our Story: In December 2016, Kiran Verma's blood was sold due to black marketing to a family. Shockingly, the wife of the patient got into prostitution to save her husband and pay the medical bills. That was the time when Kiran left his well paying job to create a platform to solve blood related problems. Everyday more than 12,000 people dies waiting for blood in India. Our Journey so far: After being launched in 2017, we have provided blood support to 21,000 blood requests across 34 countries without charging anything to the donor or blood seeker. Our Mission: To save a million potential lives through blood donation using our platform by the end of 2020. Our Vision: Nobody will die waiting for blood in India, Blood will wait to give a new life after 1st January 2026.

After exactly 400 days, I will stop working on blood donation and Simply Blood will cease to exist. And there is not even a iota of doubt about it. I don’t think we are going to live more than 60 years (looking at the environmental condition). Out of which 20% life (12 years) were spent just to understand the world. Another 10% (6 years) to learn the survival skills. Next 20% (12 years) just to deal with hardships and get a settled life. 15% of my life (9 years) I gave to the cause blood donation since 2016. Just to make sure that… “Nobody should die waiting for blood after 31st Dec 2025 in India”. India needed around 5 million units of new blood donors (to reach 15 million units needed annually). I spent all my savings to make sure I give 100% to the cause. Built a platform which costs us more than we are helping people, (extremely bad ROI). Spent almost 3 years on the road away from family, friends and even people so many days. Walking 21,433 was not easy, but many people supported me throughout this time. The walk inspired thousands of people as well. But what about my own identity, my own aspirations and my own responsibilities? I am going to give last 400 days to the cause and going to do everything possible to inspire enough youth to donate blood. Even if I fail, I would happily accept my defeat and will focus on building companies I always thought of. And the last remaining 15% of my life (considering I will live till 60), I will build some great business just like #Tata to create a legacy. Finally the last 20% of my life, I wanted to travel around the world, live peacefully and may find someone like me who can do justice with whatever I will leave behind. I hope people are going to help me during the next 400 days and make my life meaningful by solving blood scarcity issue in India 🇮🇳. You may call me an idiot or may be help to find right people to join me for next 400 days. Wish me the best!

There are more than 63 districts in India with NO blood bank (based on 2021 report). The current number of such districts would be higher due to recent creation of new districts in India. Most of the people die waiting for blood in these districts due to inaccessibility. More than 12,000 people dies waiting for blood EVERY SINGLE DAY in India as the country is facing shortage of atleast 4 million new blood donors annually. We at Simply Blood can’t solve all these problems alone and thats why we are taking one step at a time. 1) The first one step we took in 2017 was to create a platform which can be used to aggregate blood donors from all across the nation and that’s how we created #SimplyBlood. We saw that even after creating world’s third largest online community of blood donors after #Friends2Support and American #RedCross, we could only save around 70,000 potential lives. We failed to get overall success rate of more that 22-25% and we found that there is a lack of awareness among people. 2) Then to create a mass awareness, I personally walked (walk is still on) more than 21,000 across 22 states/UT in around 28 months. My posts or message or appeal to #donateblood reached out to around 200 million people online and around 2 million offline. 150+ blood donation camps were organised and more than 50,000 people donated blood during my walk. Then I saw there are many places which can’t be reached by road as quickly as we can in urban areas (like Northeastern states). 3) So, here we are at Change With One Foundation joining hands with TSAW Drones To connect all the districts with NO blood bank across India through drones to deliver blood. This partnership or association is going to revolutionise the whole blood donation ecosystem with #TSAWDrones’ ground breaking technology. We are going to start our services soon in NorthEastern states. “Nobody will die waiting for blood in India after 31st December 2025” That’s our commitment to #India When we fail reach there by walking, we will run. When we will fail to reach by running, we will fly. And here we are… soon going to fly and #SaveLives in places where our government fails. A big thanks to Kishan Tiwari and Rimanshu Pandey for bringing us on their board. Hope to see the magic of their #drones!
