I'm devastated by the recent loss of a close friend who took his own life. The pain of losing someone to suicide is indescribable. 👇 It's a sobering reminder that no matter how overwhelming life may seem, suicide is never the answer. Often, those who are struggling feel isolated or believe they have no one to turn to—but that’s not true. There is always help available, whether through friends, family, professionals, or support networks. This loss has deeply affected me, and it underscores the importance of creating safe spaces where people feel they can openly share their struggles without judgment. We must normalize conversations about mental health and remind one another that it's okay to ask for help. If you're feeling hopeless or overwhelmed, know that reaching out to someone can make all the difference. You are not alone in this. Let’s be more mindful of the people around us, checking in on friends and loved ones. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health and make it easier for those in need to speak up. #BreakTheSilence

Looking back, my journey began in a classroom as a lecturer, where I discovered the power of education to transform lives. Teaching wasn't just a job; it was a passion that allowed me to connect, inspire, and make a real difference. That first step was filled with challenges, but it was those very struggles that shaped me into who I am today. Now, as I stand before a group of freelancers, I’m reminded of the importance of learning and growing, no matter where life takes us. The journey may evolve, but the essence remains the same—sharing knowledge and guiding others is a privilege I’ll always cherish.

“Be a good human being to be a successful entrepreneur” ( Read 👇) In my last post I mentioned something special is coming. Meet Mr. Ravichandran. The most experienced guest we have had on the Podcast so far. Sir is 71 years young and he has been in business for the past 4 decades having stated his company in the early 1980’s. Sir is a first gen entrepreneur and the founder & MD of Usha Engineering Pvt Ltd Coimbatore. They are a hardcore B2B manufacturing company that supply parts and components to all the top companies in Chennai and Coimbatore. A quick back story on how I met sir. Back in 2018 during my chaotic early days of my business, one fine day I had gone to the office of my friend Vignesh Kumar. He was on his way to a customer field visit and asked me to join him. We made our way to Mr.Ravichandran’s company when I met him for the first time. Back then everything was new to me. He could see I was struggling and confused. He sat with me for about one hour listened patiently to what I had to say and my journey and congratulated me on taking the leap. At the time in the state of mind I was in having lost my father some months earlier his words filled me with confidence and encouragement. Cut to 2024 I had the opportunity to interview and learn from sir again. He had forgotten that we met but I remembered. I had long wanted sir on the show. Special thanks to my bros Vignesh & Cibi for making this happen. We had a long lunch and an hour long podcast to learn from sir’s 40 plus years of seeing almost everything life and entrepreneurship throws at you. Huge opportunities awaits in Indian Manufacturing🔊 ▶ (Read 👇) Last week, my friends Vignesh & Cibi of CNV ENGINEERING had invited me to visit the International Engineering Sourcing Show organized by the EEPC INDIA It is one of the Largest B2B Sourcing events for Engineering Components and the Manufacturing sector held at the Codissia Center at Coimbatore City. With over 350+ participants from almost all states of the country, Knowledge Sessions from Industry veterans, International Delegates Visiting from 20 different countries for direct procurement discussions, Procurement teams from Companies like Jaguar Land Rover, Ather Energy etc , the event is meticulously well organized. As a Mechanical Engineer myself this opened my eyes to the sheer size of the engineering sector that silently powers the world. To give you a picture here are some of the businesses I found I bet you wouldn't have noticed One of the Oldest Manufacturers of Manhole covers that supply to State Govts from West Bengal A 30 year old Hospital Beds and Medical Devices manufacturer for the elderly and critical care patients from Hyderabad Shipyard equipment suppliers from Goa. One of the largest manufacturers in India for earth moving equipment from my own city. etc. And much more doing multiple crores in Revenue. Here are some interesting stats I found. The engineering goods export of India had a share of 23.92% out of the total exports from the country. In FY24 (until Aug2023), the exports of engineering goods stood at US$ 44.62 billion. China grew on the back of manufacturing and became the factory of the world. To put things into perspective as of 2021 China’s Engineering Exports to ONLY the USA alone was $570 billion plus. I will leave 2 articles in the comments as well about this. Although the room for growth is massive , it will not come without becoming competitive first and rising to global standards. I’m in no way a sector expert in this but the point of the post is awareness.   I feel this sector is not being talked about enough on Social media so I’m taking the liberty. (Many of you that follow me here are from Software and Services side) The MSME manufacturing sector needs to get very competitive both in terms of marketing, productions speeds, improving their quality of products. It is not going to happen until solid partnerships are established with the services Sector. Almost all of them are aware that they need to modernize to thrive but have very little idea where to start. They are in need of modern marketing, sales, operations and financial strategies and services. A huge opportunity for the Domestic Services Sector in B2B Ecom , IT Services, marketing services , financial services, etc if you position yourselves as experts catering to this niche.
