At the 27th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit the Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bengaluru organized a Global Innovation Alliance partner session focused on water management. 🌏 The #Netherlands organized the session on "Every Drop Counts: Leveraging Dutch Technology for Water Management” where we explore pioneering Dutch innovations that are making every drop of water matter, solving complex challenges from conservation to distribution. 💡 With the three Dutch water companies active in India, the session shared how they can contribute to local solutions on water management. 💧 Ajay Dhar of Royal HaskoningDHV shared how they use #technology and #data to predict flooding, and apps to inform government, residents and businesses in order to take mitigating measures. 💧 Joe Cherian, representing Technimex Water Management shared how he is looking for partners in #India to tackle loss of non-revenue #water. 💧 Alexander Euler of Hydraloop shared how their technology can help home and building owners #savewater (and money) by #recycling more water on the spot, before it has to go to a sewage treatment plant Every place is different and therefore requires different solutions in collaboration with local companies. In all of this, governments also play a role, in regulation and incentives. The great interaction with the audience highlighted the interest in the topic of water technology, and the need to develop different solutions in different parts of the world. 🎯 Netherlands Embassy in India | Consulate General of the Netherlands in Mumbai | Ewout de Wit | Anne Cremers | Daniël van Horn | Aleena Joseph | Balaji Venkatraman | Nutan, PhD | Nishi Chandra Pant | Joep Steinbusch | Netherlands Innovation Network India | NBSOs India | Dr. Ekroop Caur | Priyank M Kharge | Nishel Chung | Bhaskar Subramani | IT BT Department, Karnataka | STPI - Software Technology Parks of India | Startup Karnataka | Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) | Anjali Gupta Nair | Ekant Tyagi | Rajshree Bhadauria | Purvaja Koli #solvingglobalchallengestogether #BTS2024 #bengalurutechsummit #netherlands #india #waterpartnership

As we celebrate entrepreneurship, listen to our second entrepreneur of the day: Jonathan S., CEO of Stradus. Why did he decide to start his business in India? 💡 "At Stradus we have now been doing business in India for over 10 years. Here in India, we are making and selling software for doctors to look at medical images. There is a great IT talent pool available, and our market is growing significantly faster here than in The Netherlands. These reasons make it very attractive to be here in Bangalore. Starting a business in India can be challenging but is highly rewarding. Luckily, there are places you can get help as a Dutch entrepreneur like RVO and the Dutch consulates who can point you in the right direction. For example, we are still using the very knowledgeable auditor they helped us find over ten years ago!" 🎯 Netherlands Embassy in India | Consulate General of the Netherlands in Mumbai | Netherlands Innovation Network India | NBSOs India | Ewout de Wit | Anne Cremers | Surya Kiran Vaddadi | Balaji Venkatraman | Nutan, PhD | Aleena Joseph | Nishel Chung | Bhaskar Subramani #dagvandeondernemer #celebratingentrepreneurship #India #Netherlands #Bangalore

🌍 Tech and Innovation at The India Advantage Summit [TIA Summit]🌱 The India Advantage Summit [TIA Summit] in Bengaluru brings together key government representatives, industry leaders, investors and global experts to discuss how to use technology for a greener and smarter future. We were happy to see a lot of Netherlands presence with our Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for South India, Ewout de Wit who shared how the Netherlands and India are collaborating on the energy transition, decarbonization of transport, cybersecurity, agriculture, and health, Arcadis presenting AI-driven traffic solutions and Automicle showcasing open systems in mobility, parking, and energy. On Day 2 our Innovation Advisor, Dr. Nutan, PhD took a deepdive into the WAH! Agenda—highlighting Dutch expertise in water management, precision farming, and healthcare innovations like telemedicine. Her speech touched on future collaborations in IT, Cybersecurity, and Semiconductors, with projects like Data for Better Health striving to revolutionize healthcare with ICMR - National Institute for Research in Reproductive and Child Health (NIRRCH). 🏏A keynote that really struck home was the one by Jonty Rhodes, cricket legend and founder of Life by Jonty. His talk on resilience, teamwork, and bouncing back from setbacks was a six-pointer for the soul! Blending humor and life lessons from the pitch, he reminded us that—whether in sport or life—keeping our eye on the ball is key to success. ✨ A special thanks to Jose Jacob Kalayil for curating such a powerful program with an impressive moderation of the sessions. #NetherlandsInnovation #IndoDutchPartnership #Sustainability #TIA2024 #EnergyTransition #WAHAgenda #QuantumTech Innovatie Attaché Netwerk / IA (Netherlands Innovation Network) | Netherlands Enterprise Agency | Netherlands Embassy in India | Consulate-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bengaluru | Dhoya Snijders | Sandra Kalidien| Aleena Joseph |Arun Thekkedath | Dr. NAMAN AGRAWAL | Mony Klaus | Jef Heyse | Jan Kuenne | Venkata Subbarao Chunduru | Shan M S |Anirban Sinha |Sanjeev Sharma
