L&T CSR SCAM ALERT It has come to our attention that fraudulent individuals are using the name of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) CSR to approach certain NGOs, offering CSR support and soliciting payments in the name of various subsidy schemes. Currently, E-mails and Phone calls are doing the rounds under the name of Dr Venkataraman, No: 83419 18334, claiming to be from Larsen Toubro Public & Health Care Division / Larsen & Toubro Health Care Foundation, etc. PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT L&T IS NOT INVOLVED IN THIS AND WE HAVE NO DR VENKATARAMAN IN OUR SERVICE. This is a CSR scam that is targeting NGOs to deceive and extract money. NGOs receiving such emails/call should ignore it, and bring it to our notice. Synopsys Inc inaugurated the projct - 'Winning Edge Education for Rural Communities', in Mulugu district, Telangana yesterday. The project implemented by United Way of Hyderabad is designed to address the pressing needs of Chalvai & Venkatapuram Zilla parishad High Schools. These are interior villages close to the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border, and often lack traction to any development activities. This initiative primarily focuses on digital literacy, hygiene, safety, and gender equality in rural education. Positioned to equip schools with modern technology, improved learning materials, and essential infrastructure upgrades, such as safe drinking water and sanitary facilities, this engagement will impact 700 tribal students.
