A Milestone Moment in the Fight Against Breast Cancer At Deepak Group, we are deeply humbled and proud to announce the launch of our Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU)—a lifesaving, early breast cancer detection van, under the CSR initiative of Deepak Phenolics Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite limited. The state-of-the-art mobile unit represents our unwavering commitment to women’s health, empowerment, and inclusive growth. Breast cancer remains one of the leading health challenges for women in India, particularly in underserved rural and tribal areas where access to timely screening and diagnostics is limited. Through the MMU, we aim to bridge this gap by bringing advanced mammography technology directly to the doorstep of communities in Gujarat. Key Highlights of the Initiative: A first-of-its-kind in the state, mobile diagnostic unit designed for early breast cancer detection. Operated in partnership with Deepak Foundation to screen women aged 40+ in Bharuch, Narmada, and Vadodara initially, followed by the entire State. Goal: Reduce breast cancer mortality by 25% through early intervention and awareness. This initiative was officially flagged off by esteemed dignitaries, symbolizing a collective commitment to saving lives and building healthier communities. We believe in the power of Responsible Chemistry to create a meaningful difference—not just in business, but in the lives of people we serve. The Mobile Mammography Van is the latest addition to Deepak Group’s comprehensive suite of community-focused healthcare initiatives.
