What goes on in a Baraat ceremony? In an Indian wedding, the baraat is more than just a procession; it’s a vibrant celebration marking the groom’s grand arrival at the bride’s home. Today the Baraat culture has become popular with most weddings. The groom, often dressed in an Indian attire, typically sits on a horse decorated in an Indian costume, some baraats also see the groom arriving on a majestic elephant or in decorated vintage cars, and royal carriages.
