On 23rd September we at GCELT Robotics Club (ROBOTRIX) hosted our first ever 𝙍𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙚 - 𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳-𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵. Like every other competition, ours had a bunch of regulations and some brilliant teams that amused us with their ability to traverse the elaborate track they faced in front of them. What followed was a fantastic display of sportsmanship and teamwork. We are happy to announce the results from the event: - 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 : 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘋𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰 - 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽 : 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘰𝘣𝘰 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 - 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗽 : 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (KGEC - Robotics Society) We extend our wholehearted congratulations to the teams and would like to mention that despite the leaderboard, the real triumph lies in your hardwork and dedication. We thank all the participants for participating and making the event a success and wish y'all the very best for your future! To all who were present that day and those who couldn't attend, we'd like to share with you a few glimpses from that day. Click on this link to find all media from that day: https://lnkd.in/gKhgutrA

Arijit Raj 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: They created a robot that can detect borders and avoid obstacles using Arduino Uno, an infrared sensor (IR), and an ultrasonic (US) sensor. The IR sensor helps the car detect the boundaries or edges of a path, while the ultrasonic sensor enables it to detect and avoid obstacles in its way. This project combines sensor data and logic to allow the car to navigate autonomously and safely.

GCELT Robotics Club (ROBOTRIX) reposted this
Hello #connections, I want to introduce you to our little, friendly Road Obstacle and Uncertainty Detector (R. O. U. D). I want to acknowledge Satyaki Saha, Atreyee Bandyopadhyay the entire 3rd-year Robotics team of GCELT (GCELT Robotics Club) for putting their heart and soul into our project. R. O. U. D here has dual mode: 🟢 An automatic mode - where it uses ultrasonic sensors to detect objects and avoid them. 🟢 A controlled mode - where we can control it using Bluetooth connectivity as well as through hand gestures. While the project may not be anything spectacular, it has proved to be a great first step and has taught us a lot. From the basics of Arduino, the intricacies involved in developing an approach to a problem to teamwork lessons, R. O. U. D figuratively has been literal sunshine in our lives. We hope to improve and further our journey in robotics!
