As the year 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on the insightful contributions of Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant, a Padma Shri awardee, distinguished Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and dance scholar. At the Closing Plenary of the 2024 Annual IC3 Conference & Expo, she provided a compelling account of her journey in balancing passion and promise. Dr. Ananda Shankar Jayant articulated how genuine excitement and learning arise from life's challenges. She exemplified the process of converting barriers into opportunities and leveraging adversity as a source of strength.
