We are excited to work with Team Project Potential on Need Assessment for a Youth Social Entrepreneurship Incubator Program (Fellowship) that we intend to codesign. Our goal is to unlock the youth power by providing them a platform that helps them to access resources such as finance, technology and market. There are many youth today who have a strong passion towards a social cause. Some of them are able to take local-level social initiatives towards these causes by associating with youth clubs, or volunteering opportunities. Only a few of such leaders, consider establishing a local level enterprise with a social goal. Our aim is to provide a platform for passionate youth who want to make a difference in their communities. From accessing resources like finance, technology, and marketing to overcoming blockers such as lack of awareness and skill-set. By offering support in program design, skill development, marketing and recognition, the Social Entrepreneurship Incubator Program helps these leaders implement their objectives towards social impact. We express our gratitude to Pleqsus Foundation and The Nudge Incubator for hosting an immersive Design Thinking Workshop in Kolkata. Over two dynamic days, more than 40 representatives from different organizations and members of the transgender community came together for a collaborative exploration into sustainable models for transgender livelihoods. As participants we are sincerely thankful to have played a role in this collaborative initiative. For the not-for-profit Masoom, ImpactOnus conducted an exhaustive Need Assessment survey in Dehradun District, Uttarakhand, and Gujarat, engaging with a total of 1,445 respondents. The ELC model, an initiative by Masoom, is targeted at individuals who haven't completed their 10th standard. It aims to empower out-of-school students and dropouts, particularly in areas lacking alternative education models like night schools. This innovative model prepares students for their class 10 exams and can be implemented in collaboration with the government or the community.
