Indi Energy is an energy storage startup involved in R&D of next generation battery technologies, with superior performance than current counterparts. The team involves scientists and engineers from IIT Roorkee having years of experience in developing next generation battery technologies like Li-ion batteries, Sodium ion batteries, Solid state batteries, Super-capacitors, etc. We are currently working on developing next generation Sodium-ion battery technologies. Through our technology, we want to replace poor performing commercialized lead acid batteries, currently dominating the Indian battery market. Our vision is to provide high performance battery technology for applications like solar and wind grid storage, electric scooters/E-rickshaws, Car SLI batteries, batteries for solar street lights, etc. We want to make India free from energy imports and manufacture everything indigenously through our innovative technologies.
