🌟 Empowering Communities with Health-Based Interventions 🌟 Kayantar Foundation, initiated a transformative health intervention in rural areas of Nuh (Haryana). Through baseline surveys, we discovered that many women and children faced severe health challenges, including anaemia, malnutrition and high rates of miscarriages. 🚑 Key Achievements: *) Regular health camps providing essential medicines and supplements like iron, calcium and multivitamins. *) Distribution of nutritious kits including almonds, raisins, figs and more to pregnant women. *) Improved healthcare access leading to healthier pregnancies and deliveries. *) Increased awareness and education on maintaining proper nutrition and regular medical check-ups. *) Planting fruit and vegetable trees to ensure a steady supply of fresh produce for the community. The results have been truly encouraging, with noticeable improvements in maternal and child health. 🌟 Transforming Challenges into Triumphs: Celebrating Hasrat’s Journey to Motherhood 🌟 We are thrilled to share the inspiring story of Hasrat, a courageous woman from Basai village in Nuh (Haryana), whose journey to motherhood was fraught with challenges. Despite facing severe obstetric complications and the heartache of three miscarriages, Hasrat's resilience shone through. With support from MMTC-PAMP, the project team of Kayantar Foundation was able to step in at a critical moment. With financial assistance for vital medical treatments and a comprehensive nutrition kit, we ensured Hasrat received the care needed to sustain her pregnancy. Her haemoglobin level, once a low 5.4 g/dL, improved dramatically to 10.4 g/dL through dedicated medical intervention and community support. This February, Hasrat welcomed a healthy baby, a true testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support one another. This success not only marks a personal victory for Hasrat but also lights a path of hope for many women enduring similar struggles. A Glimpse of Kayantar Foundation's Impact. We at Kayantar Foundation are thrilled to share glimpses of our ongoing health intervention initiatives in Khor and Basai villages of #Nuh district, in #Haryana, as featured in several local newspapers. Our commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility for the underprivileged is bearing fruit, and we couldn't be prouder of the community's progress. Through our health camps, we've worked with 151 pregnant and lactating women in the past 6 months, providing them with vital #check-ups, #nutrition #kit and #health education. Our focus remains steadfast on nurturing a healthy future for Nuh by breaking the barriers to quality healthcare.
