𝗟𝗼𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗮👓 On November 11th and 12th, Lotus Petal Foundation organized an Eye Camp in partnership with ICARE Hospital, Noida for our students. 👁 A total of 360 students underwent eye tests, which were offered as a probono service. We are extremely grateful to ICARE Hospital Noida for dedicating their time and resources to our students. Results of the eye camp reveal that 81 students require further treatment! 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗪𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹!✨💚 Our 5th-grade students had the honor of performing a traditional Rajasthani folk dance at the AWA Mela, organized by AWA at the American Welcome Association. Accompanied by Headmistress Ms. Monika Gupta and dance teacher Ms. Palak Gupta, the students embraced the opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The event was graced by the American Ambassador and the Director of the American Embassy School, featuring a variety of delicious food stalls, recreational stalls, Bollywood dance and Taekwondo demonstrations, making it a truly vibrant and entertaining experience.🩰🪩 Our students delivered a soulful "Ghoomar" performance impressing the audience with their grace and dedication. They also connected with peers from diverse backgrounds, including French and Korean students, forging new friendships and learning about different cultures—plus, they captured the memories with a few selfies!🤳🏻📸 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆." — Sanskriti, Jeevika Alumnus Sanskriti, a young Jeevika graduate hails from a family of farmers in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. She dreamt of providing a comfortable life to her family, leading her to leave her hometown and travel over 850 kms to join Jeevika in Gurgaon. Before joining Jeevika, Sanskriti had been attending a local college 15-20 kms away from her village. But, she began to question the quality of education and whether it would truly help her achieve her goals. 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆'𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Despite facing strong opposition from many relatives, Sanskriti’s resolve was unwavering. With the support of her parents, she made the brave decision to move to Gurgaon and embrace the opportunities that awaited her. At 𝗝𝗲𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗸𝗮, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗗. 🌻 She became an engaged and focused student, excelling in her classes and benefiting from the training provided by Jeevika’s instructors.
