 Integrated Farming clusters (IFC) is a project under #farm livelihoods of DAY NRLM. It is about creating value addition and market linkages to identified production systems in a cluster of 3 to 4 villages covering 250 -300 households, in a cluster. The objective is to provide multiple livelihoods to an #SHG household. The total budgetary provision is about Rs.40 lakhs approximately of which there is a budgetary provision for developing Livelihood Service Centre (LSC) for input /output and value addition services, to identified production systems in a cluster. The IFCs are being anchored by trained CRPs and Sr CRPs , placed within a cluster for this purpose. All the SRLMs are in the process of promoting IFCs, identifying SHG households, providing training to mahila Kisans and mapping out their households for providing multiple livelihoods, identifying Sr CRPs and training them and establishing LSCs. Producer Groups are to be formed within a cluster. These PGs either could federate into an FPO or become part of another #FPO working in their areas. #Revolutionizing #Rural #Development #with #LoKOS Imagine a system where: 1)Loans for the under served are disbursed within 48 hours, providing timely support in vulnerable situations. 2)Over 10 crore Self-Help Group (SHG) members are onboarded onto a unified platform with verified KYC. 3)Government funds are allocated to federations with 100% accountability. 4)Schemes directly reach beneficiaries based on their specific livelihood activities. 5)Legacy data is digitized, capturing savings, loans, and fund disbursements in real-time, facilitating effective analysis and policy formulation. This vision is realized through the #LoKOS application, launched under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY - NRLM). Recently, a Training of Trainers (#ToT) program for Master Trainers of AP-SERP - one of the four National Resource Organizations under the Management Information System (MIS) for handholding support, was conducted from September 9-14 by DAY-NRLM Resource Cell at NIRDPR-National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. This training aimed to enhance the capacity of master trainers whose expertise will be leveraged across states. The six-day training involved 53 participants from AP-SERP, covering aspects such as profile entry, transaction recording, and group exercises. राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज संस्थान में हिंदी पखवाड़ा समारोह का आयोजन भारत सरकार के राजभाषा विभाग के दिशानिर्देशों के अंतर्गत, राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण विकास एवं पंचायती राज संस्थान (#NIRDPR) में हिंदी पखवाड़ा समारोह 14 – 28 सितंबर 2024 के उपलक्ष्य में आज, 18 सितंबर 2024 को हिंदी सुलेख प्रतियोगिता और निबंध प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया। सुलेख प्रतियोगिता प्रातः 11 बजे से मध्याह्न 12:30 बजे तक आयोजित हिंदी सुलेख प्रतियोगिता का नेतृत्व संस्थान के राजभाषा अनुभाग की सुश्री अनिता पांडे, सहायक निदेशक (राजभाषा) द्वारा किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता में संस्थान के पुनःवर्गीकृत ग्रुप ‘सी’ के कुल 13 कर्मचारियों ने सक्रिय रूप से सहभाग लिया। निबंध प्रतियोगिता दोपहर 3 बजे से 5 बजे तक निबंध प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन संस्थान के सभी कर्मचारियों और स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम के छात्रों के लिए किया गया। इस प्रतियोगिता में कुल 15 प्रतिभागियों ने सहभाग लिया। निबंध के विषय इस प्रकार थे: आत्मनिर्भर भारत सोशल मीडिया के प्रभाव कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) के फायदे और नुकसान पर्यावरण संरक्षण की आवश्यकता जैविक खेती इन प्रतियोगिताओं के माध्यम से हिंदी के प्रति जागरूकता और सृजनशीलता को प्रोत्साहित करने का प्रयास किया गया। #हिंदी_पखवाड़ा #NIRDPR #हिंदी #राजभाषा #हिंदी_दिवस #सुलेख_प्रतियोगिता #निबंध_प्रतियोगिता #आत्मनिर्भर_भारत #सोशलमीडिया #कृत्रिम_बुद्धिमत्ता #पर्यावरण_संरक्षण #जैविक_खेती

NIRDPR Two day - "Workshop on Social Determinants of Rural Health". The Centre for PG Studies and Distance Education (CPGSDE) of NIRDPR, Hyderabad, organized a two-day workshop on “Addressing the Social Determinants of Rural Health in the LSDG Era” in collaboration with the Centre for Innovations and Appropriate Technologies (CIAT) of NIRDPR during 4th and 5th September 2024 at Hyderabad. Prof. Jyothis Sathyapalan, Head of CPGSDE, delivered the inaugural address, stressing the critical need to address social determinants of rural health and urging participants to engage actively in discussions. He emphasized the need to overcome challenges and barriers that hinder improvements in rural health and welcomed the delegates, encouraging them to actively participate in the workshop's deliberations. The workshop focused on four critical social determinants of rural health: housing, drinking water, education, and nutrition, with resource persons from various organizations leading the discussions on each theme. As part of the workshop, the delegates were provided with hands-on experience through visits to the Rural Technology Park at NIRDPR, where they explored housing technologies relevant to rural areas. The Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY) model houses particularly impressed the participants for their sustainable design and potential to improve rural living and Health conditions.
