The Moment of joyous satisfaction and accomplishment has come as we (Orchid Pharma) got the DCGI Approval of our invention of Enmetazobactam for marketing in India!!! This is the completion of the journey with the molecule from its invention to reaching to the patients for curing these serious infections. An amazing Management’s commitment in new drug discovery, and I had the privilege of Leading this Program with dynamic multidisciplinary teams of microbiology, biology, project management, and finally the clinical trials. I’m proud to be still part of the program since its inception (2006) at Orchid Pharma as we bring it to the clinics with Innvocept Global Solutions (what a long journey). After the invented-in-India molecule was approved through Allecra Therapeutics by USFDA, UKMedicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, and European Medicines Agency now Orchid Pharma secured the DCGI Central Drugs Standard Control Organization Approval.
