Phoenix Medical Systems Private Limited, established in 1989, is a pioneer in infant-care products in India. The company’s facilities in Chennai and Pondicherry manufacture, among a range of world class neonatal and maternal-care equipment, include Comprehensive Infant Care Center, Led Phototherapy, CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) units, Incubators, electronic baby weighing scales, oxygen and apnea monitors, infant bassinets and special Examination Couch, Delivery Tables, Labour Delivery Recovery Beds (LDR). Since its formation, Phoenix Medical Systems has focused consistently on innovation and quality. Both its world-class facilities follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and are US FDA-approved & CE marked. Phoenix got the prestigious DSIR (Department of Scientific and Industrial Research ) recognition for In-House R&D Unit .R&D team constantly works towards bringing out not only products that meet the needs of the Indian market but also match international standards to cater to a wider international market. The Underwriters Laboratories Inc, USA, certified Phoenix for the ISO 9001 certification in 2008 & ISO 13485 certification in 2003. The certification covers design and development, manufacture, installation and servicing of neonatal medical equipment as well as procurement, inspection, storage, shipping, installation and servicing. Phoenix is the first Indigenous Company to get its products (viz) Neonatal Open Care warmers and its range of Phototherapy units, CE and USFDA marked. Phoenix Medical Systems exports their products to more 35 countries across the globe .
