The Impish Lass Publishing House and Raindrops Books mourn the loss of Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. Chidambaram, one of India’s greatest nuclear scientists. His remarkable contributions to science and technology have left an indelible mark on the nation. The Impish Lass is proud to have shared an excellent association with this visionary leader. Dr. Chidambaram graced the first anniversary of The Impish Lass Publishing House as our esteemed guest of honor. His belief in the power of storytelling was evident when he read all the stories featured in The Impish Lass Book 1 and Book 2. We were deeply honored when he generously penned the foreword for The Impish Lass - Book 2. It was a moment of immense pride and privilege for us. Additionally, I had the rare opportunity to interview him for the Times of India’s NIE edition, where his humility, honored, inspiring thoughts left an everlasting impact on me - Meena Mishra His warm and welcoming nature shone through as he took a genuine interest in my books, asking about the inspiration behind the title 'Writings on the Wall'. He took the time to read a few of my poems and congratulated me with a heartfelt smile. - Bernard D'sa Despite being a renowned scientist of global repute, Dr. Chidambaram was the epitome of humility, politeness, and respectfulness. He possessed not just a brilliant mind but also a golden heart. His demise is an irreparable loss for the country, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family. India has lost a great asset, but his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Rest in peace, Dr. R. Chidambaram. Your brilliance and humility will be cherished forever.
