  • At the age of seven, Rani was stolen from her mom and sold into the slave trade in India. By age eight, her physical condition and emotional state were so dire that she was near death. No longer of any value to her slave owner, she was sold into illegal adoption where she was beaten, starved, and caged until a kind foster mother saved her. Rani was adopted into a stable American home in Washington State, where she began to find healing and a sense of personal freedom. She was finally reunited with her mother in 1999 and began her advocacy work against child trafficking. Rani’s journey from a trafficked child in India to a thriving advocate in the U.S. is a testament to resilience and hope. Rescued, adopted, and reunited with her mother, she now fights against child trafficking, turning her pain into a powerful force for change. #RaniHong #SurvivorStory #Hope #EndTrafficking #Resilience #Empowerment #HumanRights #Inspiration #FromSurvivorToThriver #EndChildTrafficking

  • Self actualization is the realization of a person’s full potential. Most of us do not tap into our full potential! We are created with unique talents, gifts and skills. You might be good at communication, presentation, art, sports or analytics. It is important to identify what you are gifted at naturally and invest in upskilling yourself in that area. The attention span in this generation has been drastically reduced due to first hand information available within few clicks, internet, reels and other apps. The growth in technology is commendable. It should be used for the right things but if over used it limits you from reaching your full potential. It makes you lazy and unproductive in life. Let’s build a culture where each of us invest in bringing out the full potential that lies within ourselves!! #selfactualization✔️ #potential #growthmindset

  • We go about each day without paying attention to how we feel. It could be a heated conversation with your loved one, a hard day at work or you might be angry, upset and irritated over something. If you look back at your day, you would have had moments of emotions which would be suppressed. These suppressed unprocessed pain and emotions always piles up and reacts in different ways. They lead to addictions, character flaws such as anger issues, depression, isolation etc. It is a good habit to take a step back and acknowledge how we feel at intervals during the day. “I am angry” “I am hurt” “I feel rejected” “I feel disrespected” Only if we know how we feel, we can deal with those emotions in a healthy way instead of taking it out on someone or leading to addictions I turn build our self control and character! #character #emotions #feelings #characterflaws

  • This generation both young, middle-aged and old people are so addicted to smart-phones, social media apps and OTT’s without being aware of the harmful side effects of it. With the advancement in technology, there is an increase in mental health issues as well! The depression and anxiety rate is high. Healthy communication and building healthy relationships is decreasing. Most of the time we suppress the pain and stress by watching movies or reels wasting our time which in turn affects our mental health. You might think it relieves you off the stress instead it isolates you and makes you lazy. Here are some ways to replace smart phones and OTT’s with alternate ways to release your stress: 1. Start reading books. Books help you build focus and increase your knowledge. Replace screen time with reading books. 2. When stressed instead of opting to watch a movie or scrolling aimlessly through social media, catch up in- person with a friend and talk it out! 3. Replace sitting idle with creative hobbies you like doing. Eg: Gardening, painting, art and craft, feeding pets, playing a music instrument, singing, cooking. 4. Use apps that lock your screens when you overuse them. 5. Build a workout routine. Take a walk for 15 min to half an hour everyday or hit the gym. You could also join a sports club if interested. Humans are born to be creative. Smart phones and social media should be used for limited period of time in a day. Overusing them to numb our pain and stress in the wrong way will always harm and limit our brain’s ability to think and function creative. #emotions #handleemotions #handlepain #creative #buildyourself

  • The modern world is ruled by smartphones, Netflix, YouTube and social media. With the AI developments, human interactions are being replaced with Alexa! When we take a stroll out to a park, cafe or restaurant, we can see families on their phones. The ones with children, use their smartphones to keep their children under control. This affects the children! A survey results resports that about 70% of children feel their parents are distracted when they want to talk to them. And what was the number one distraction? Technology—particularly cell phones. Even the littlest ones (at age 6) knew when their parents were paying attention. Parents need to be available for their kids. They are smart and intelligent, it is upto us as adults to help them nurture their attentive abilities, IQ, intelligence and talents. They should be able to lean on their parents and feel heard! We need to be available when our kids want to talk, to set boundaries so they’ll learn when it’s okay to interrupt us, and to spend time with each child individually they know thet they have your undivided attention and can open up. #parenting #attentiveparents #notosmartphones #children #childcare

  • Approximately 130 people are trafficked worldwide every hour and most of these are children. Over one million children are trafficked for the sex trade every year. Approximately 30 million children have lost their childhood to human trafficking in the past 30 years. Some children forced into human trafficking are as young as 4 years old. 4 million children who are under the age of 18 are living in forced marriages. This is slavery. Most of the children are sold off by their own families for labour and are eventually traded for sex trafficking1 in 3 children who run away from home are approached by a trafficker within 48 hours of their running away. 76% of transactions for human trafficking with underage girls, start on the internet. The world is not a safe place! Pay attention to your children, where they go, who they are with. Protect them with love. If you come across any signs of children being trafficked or abused do reach out to child helplines (1098) and report the issue immediately. #endtrafficking #humantraffickingawareness #humantrafficking #sextraffickingawareness #childtraffickingmuststop

I like observing people around me. My neighbour, each night around 9 30pm, I hear him honking once he returns home on his scooter after work. One night the honking went on for about 5 minutes and I heard him being frustrated. Out of curiosity I took a peek from my balcony and saw him yelling at his wife for not opening the gate immediately when he honked to park his scooter inside. Each night I hear him honk and his wife runs to open the gate for him to park the bike inside. After he parks she has to close the gate and lock it. This was so disturbing! How much are we respecting the people in our life? Love respects the other person! Love does not demand! Love is patient! Man or Woman, we need to take responsibility to do our own work ourselves! We need to develop the mindset of serving eachother instead of demanding others to serve us. The slave mindset at homes should be eradicated! Men should not demand but be responsible, respectful and serve! Women should not carry a slave mindset neither a dominating mindset but rather value themselves, respect and serve! Change starts with each one of us as individuals! Let’s work on building a culture where each of us take responsibility to do our own work. Let’s learn to value and respect the people in our life. Let us learn to walk in love and patience. #respectothers #patience #responsibility #character #walkinlove
