Asha Singh’s story shows how small skills can spark big changes. As a mother of two and a worker at Ajeevika Mission, Asha was often dependent on others for tasks like sending documents and uploading files. But when Reliance Foundation’s Digital Literacy and Financial Inclusion Training was introduced in her village in Shahdol, she saw an opportunity. Asha gathered a group of women to learn WhatsApp, video calls, and online tools. Along with this, she discovered the power of savings and women’s role in financial decisions. With newfound independence, Asha’s work became more efficient, and she no longer needed help from others.
