The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and industry-specific regulations applicable to the oil and gas and renewable energy industries. Key Responsibilities:  •Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with industry-specific accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to clients to support strategic decision-making, risk management, and performance optimization.  •Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations specific to the energy sector.  •Collaborate with external stakeholders to address accounting and financial issues, resolve challenges, and achieve business objectives.  •Stay updated of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations affecting the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, and provide proactive guidance to Management. Support management by managing banking relations including providing information/data to banks/lenders/auditors/other.  Qualifications:  •Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required.  •Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a similar role,preferably in the energy sector, including oil and gas or renewable energy.  •Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations applicable to the energy industry, with the ability to apply them effectively in practice.  •Experience working with clients in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, with a deep understanding of industry-specific operations, financial metrics, and challenges.  •Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.  •Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable financial information.  •Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.  •Commitment to professional development, continuous learning, and staying current with industry trends and best practices in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy project development, excellent project management skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Land Acquisition: Identify and evaluate potential sites for wind and solar projects. Negotiate land lease and purchase agreements with landowners. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies. Ensure all land-related legal documents are accurately prepared and executed. Manage RoW related issues on the site. 2. Connectivity Solutions: Assess and determine optimal grid connection points for projects. Coordinate with utility companies and grid operators to secure interconnection agreements. Oversee technical studies related to grid connection and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage the process of obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for grid connectivity. 3. Government Approvals: Navigate the regulatory landscape to secure all required permits and licenses. Engage with local, regional, and national government bodies to facilitate project approvals. Prepare and submit applications for environmental impact assessments, zoning changes, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

The country added 1.1 GW of rooftop solar capacity in January-June, up 26 per cent year-on-year over 873 MW in the year-ago period, according to a report. In the second quarter of the 2024 calendar year, 731 MW of rooftop solar systems were installed, an increase of 89 per cent from 388 MW in April-June last year, US-based research firm Mercom Capital said in report released on Thursday. As of June 2024, India had a cumulative installed rooftop solar capacity of 11.6 GW, the 'India Rooftop Solar Market Report' said. The industrial segment accounted for over 23 per cent of the quarterly installations, while commercial and government segments accounted for 4 per cent and 0.7 per cent of capacity additions, respectively, it said. The top 10 states contributed over 78 per cent of cumulative rooftop solar installations as of June 2024. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Kerala, and Karnataka remained at the forefront in terms of cumulative installed rooftop solar capacity during the quarter.
