At STIHL India, our commitment to community well-being goes beyond business, focusing on meaningful contributions that make a difference. In collaboration with Rotary Club Pune South, we proudly donated four dialysis machines to Shri Guruji Hospital, Nashik, a philanthropic institution dedicated to providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities. During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Parind Prabhudesai, Managing Director of STIHL India, expressed that STIHL's contribution to this initiative is modest to the outstanding work being conducted by Shri Guruji Hospital and Rotary. He further conveyed his pleasure in supporting such a service-oriented institution and mentioned few other CSR projects led by Ms Hetal Raval, Sr Manager- HR & EA for STIHL India    The event commenced with a prayer to Lord Dhanvantari, followed by a ceremonial puja of the dialysis machines. Shri Pravin Burkule, Secretary—SGR, introduced the event, while Dr. Girish Chakurkar, Joint Secretary—SGR, provided insights into the hospital’s ongoing and future expansion projects. Vijaya Gujarathi, Director of the Human Development Service Project of Rotary Club Pune South, highlighted the rationale for selecting Shri Guruji Hospital in Nashik. Esteemed Rotarians, including Dr. Mandar Ambike, Ravi Prabhune, Vinod Agarwal, IPDG Manju Phadke, and Abhijit Jog, shared their perspectives on the importance of this collaboration. The hospital’s president, Dr. Vinayak Govilkar, emphasized that when two like-minded organizations come together, it creates unique energy. He stated that this donation from an international company like STIHL, facilitated by Rotary Club Pune South, marks a significant milestone in Shri Guruji Hospital’s journey of growth and service. Empowering Communities, Shaping Futures: STIHL India’s continued commitment to society. At STIHL India, we believe in and are committed to creating a difference beyond business through such initiatives that touch lives and empower communities. In collaboration with the SnehfoundationIndia, we recently undertook three transformational CSR projects on education, health, and community well-being. The project was led by Ms. Hetal Raval – Sr. Manager – EA & HR with the support and encouragement from Mr. Parind Prabhudesai – Managing Director, STIHL India To transform and upgrade education for the Katkari Vaadi community, we equipped the Jila Parishad School in Bondekhal, Thane, with a smart TV, fostering interactive learning and improving student engagement. Our employees extended their support through a heartfelt clothing drive, ensuring the distribution of high-quality clothing to the Bondekhal community with dignity and care. Additionally, we organised health camps at Harzat Umarfarooq School, Rupeenagar, Nigdi, benefitting over 388 students with health check-ups, dental screenings, free medicines, and oral hygiene awareness. These three CSR initiatives reflect STIHL India's unwavering commitment to driving social impact through meaningful collaborations. Whether it is enabling education, ensuring access to healthcare, or addressing basic needs, we remain dedicated to empowering communities and creating sustainable change.
