In collaboration with the SnehfoundationIndia, we recently undertook three transformational CSR projects on education, health, and community well-being. The project was led by Ms. Hetal Raval – Sr. Manager – EA & HR with the support and encouragement from Mr. Parind Prabhudesai – Managing Director, STIHL India To transform and upgrade education for the Katkari Vaadi community, we equipped the Jila Parishad School in Bondekhal, Thane, with a smart TV, fostering interactive learning and improving student engagement. Our employees extended their support through a heartfelt clothing drive, ensuring the distribution of high-quality clothing to the Bondekhal community with dignity and care. Additionally, we organised health camps at Harzat Umarfarooq School, Rupeenagar, Nigdi, benefitting over 388 students with health check-ups, dental screenings, free medicines, and oral hygiene awareness. These three CSR initiatives reflect STIHL India's unwavering commitment to driving social impact through meaningful collaborations. Whether it is enabling education, ensuring access to healthcare, or addressing basic needs, we remain dedicated to empowering communities and creating sustainable change. At STIHL India, our commitment to excellence which extends beyond products and services; it lies in empowering our employees with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a dynamic market. The recently concluded Sales Excellence Training (SET), an initiative designed to upskill our field salesforce, exemplifies this dedication.   A Comprehensive Approach to Skill Development: The SET journey began in July 2024 with Module I and culminated in the successful completion of Module II from 15th to 19th November 2024. While the first module laid the foundation, the second module delved deeper, focusing on crucial aspects like institutional business, tenders, and subsidies, coupled with an engaging day of hands-on training. These sessions were designed to enhance technical and strategic capabilities, ensuring our sales team is well-prepared to address complex challenges in their roles.   Additionally, our employees, who manage extensive territories, participated in a dedicated time management session, equipping them with tools to optimize efficiency and productivity. This holistic approach ensures that our workforce is not only skilled but also agile in managing their responsibilities effectively. What makes the SET program even more remarkable is that it was conceptualized and delivered by our own internal talent. Under the leadership of our Sales Director, Raghavendra PM, and supported by HR Head Bhagyashri Inamdar and a dedicated team, the program reflects the strength of STIHL India’s internal capabilities. Each contributor, including key team members like Anil Patil, Ranjit More, Satyajit Patil, Shankar Lal Kachi, Tapan Sharma, Pravin Kulkarni, Ashish Kumar, Deepali Mhaskar, Bhagyashree Batki, Swati Kharade and others, played a crucial role in ensuring the program's success. This initiative underscores STIHL India’s belief in nurturing talent from within, fostering a culture where employees take the lead in shaping their growth and the organization’s future.   The success of SET is a testament to the guidance and support of our Managing Director, Parind Prabhudesai. His belief in the program and the team’s capabilities not only laid the foundation for its success but also inspired the participants to aim higher.    The completion of Module II marks not just the end of the Sales Excellence Training but a new beginning for STIHL India. With updated knowledge, refined skills, and renewed enthusiasm, our employees are better equipped to take on market challenges and elevate STIHL India to the next level. The STIHL India Team embarked on an exciting journey to France, starting with a visit to the iconic city of Paris before heading to Toulouse to witness the TIMBERSPORTS®️ World Championship 2024, held at the renowned Zénith Toulouse Metropole arena on 8th and 9th November. The event brought together the world’s elite logger sports athletes, and the Indian team was thrilled to witness the event where the national teams competed across Stock Saw, Single Buck, Underhand Chop, and Standing Block Chop. STIHL India CSR Initiative: Empowering Communities Through Healthcare   STIHL India, in collaboration with Y4D Foundation, conducted a 2-day Mega Health Camp at Vijaypura, Karnataka reaffirming its dedication to community development and social responsibility. This initiative, focused on providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities, reflects STIHL India’s belief in the power of health and wellness as foundational pillars for sustainable development.   The health camp brought free medical services to over 625 villagers, farmers, and students, making a significant impact on the region’s overall well-being. Esteemed representatives from STIHL India, including Parind Prabhudesai, Managing Director, Hetal Raval, Senior Manager HR & EA, SANJAY VARMA, Regional Head and Raghavendra PM, Sales Director underscored the company's deep commitment to the cause.   At the heart of this initiative were dedicated medical professionals—general physicians, pediatricians, dentists, gynecologists, and ophthalmologists—ensuring that every patient received high-quality care.
