Dr. Manmohan Singh was a fine statesman with a spiritual leaning, a kind heart, and a resolute mind. At his behest, I joined the Amarnath Shrine Board and had the opportunity to interact with him on multiple occasions. He will be fondly remembered for his gentle and humble demeanor.
In a moment of darkness, Mohammed Musa chose to seek the light, and it changed his life forever. Once overwhelmed by depression, addiction, and anger, he found hope through Sudarshan Kriya. With @Gurudev ‘s teachings as his guide, what followed was a journey of deep inner healing, where his struggles transformed into strength, and his anger gave way to peace. Today, Musa is a living example of how meditation can heal, and how the wisdom and teachings of Gurudev can completely change the course of life. 😇 #sudarshankriya #healing #meditation #breathwork #happiness

Today, meditation is not a luxury, as it was once thought, but a necessity. I would call it mental hygiene—just as we have dental hygiene, we need mental hygiene. Meditation helps us stay centered and steers us away from aggression and depression. The mental health crisis has taken a significant toll on our population. On one side, our young generation is struggling with aggressive behavior, while on the other side, many face depression. Meditation helps us stay balanced, bringing both sensitivity and sensibility—two vital qualities for any civilized society. We need to be sensitive to ourselves, to others, and to the environment. Meditation makes us more conscious of our surroundings and the emotions of those around us. It helps prevent antisocial behaviors that could harm both ourselves and others. In this sense, meditation is no longer a luxury but a necessity. There was a time when people sought meditation and enlightenment in the mountains or by the sea. Today, meditation needs to reach every door, every home. There are some people who cannot do yoga for various physical reasons, but meditation is something that can be done anywhere, by anyone, and at any time. In this sense, World Meditation Day plays a very important role and opens the door for those who may have reservations about meditation. The moment you hear the word “meditation,” the first thought might be, “Oh, it must be from some religion,” or “It is not part of my religion.” However, meditation, though it lies at the core of many traditions around the world, transcends faith. Meditation transcends all religions, all geographical boundaries, and age groups as well. It is very, very useful in many, many ways. #WorldMeditationDay
