This is how I started working with a high-growth startup in my second year of college. Earlier this year, I was building a food tech platform. After 5 months of sheer hard work and1212 rejections. One day, I randomly saw Aman's post about the 1st cohort of QuestSchool. I applied for it and attended. It involved some intensive sessions from industry experts, followed by pitching our ideas. In my case, the judges were the founders of HiveSchool, and I won the competition. From there, Nikhil and Simar offered me to work at HiveSchool. However, it exceeded all expectations and turned out to be an incredible experience. > Connecting with people from various backgrounds and perspectives was truly enriching. > We sold a product directly to the public, engaging with people on the street. Significant moment when our product sold, leaving a hesitant customer satisfied. > Pitched our product to investors as a team of three, highlighting creative ideas and innovative approach. I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend the startup event for the founding cohort QuestSchool. It was a privilege to immerse myself in an environment buzzing with innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. During this event, I got to: Learn Startup 101: Gained foundational insights into launching and growing a startup, thanks to Nikhil Gaur from HiveSchool. Interact with Founders: Had the chance to discuss ideas with amazing founders like Ishita Gupta, Mayuresh Jadhav ↗️, Rohit Lakhanpal, Simar Sekhri, Simran Gupta and many more! Pitch Ideas to Industry Leaders: I made my very first pitch on Atlas Foods. It was a fantastic learning curve, requiring us to study the company and present our vision. Compete in Various Competitions: Participated in various startup competitions, including a sales competition that truly tested our skills. Network: Built an amazing network of like-minded individuals and innovators. The highlight? Meeting incredible folks from Eat Atlás, GoOAT, and many more who are as passionate about innovation and startups as I am. Thanks Aman Rudola for making me a part of this event, and to all the new connections—looking forward to future collaborations! Overall, the event was an exhilarating experience filled with learning, networking, and growth. If you're passionate about startups and innovation, I highly recommend attending events like these.
