  • As part of the National Education Programme initiative, supported by General Mills, we recently conducted our first block-level teachers' training in Sinnar, Maharashtra, aimed at enabling educators across 30 schools. Teachers play a crucial role in shaping the lives of students, especially when it comes to promoting healthy habits and nutrition. And so, the training covered a wide range of important topics, including balanced nutrition, portion control, reading food labels, meal planning, healthy cooking methods, hygiene practices, and physical activity. It was designed to equip teachers with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively implement the structured Nutrition Education Curriculum and support their students’ well-being. By providing teachers with the right resources and ongoing support, we’re helping to create a lasting impact on the health and education of the next generation.

In our work, especially as the philanthropy platform to the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), I get to witness the giving of over 30,000 people every year and cumulatively lakhs of people to causes. What floors and fascinates me are the thousands of individuals who raise funds for causes each year. Fundamentally, I know it is easier to give quietly than to ask publicly. The ability to ask especially for a cause is a courageous step in the philanthropic effort of a person. The evolution to expand your philanthropic impact by reaching out to friends and network to support a cause is a little test of your goodwill and passion to help others. Most people find this uncomfortable yet those who do quickly realize the deep gratification of becoming an enabler to a greater service. At TMM, fundraisers come from every walk of life: business leaders, celebrities, homemakers, children, and professionals. They may not all know it at the start, but each one holds the potential to create a multiplier effect—transforming their goodwill into a force for change. It only takes a simple formula: your willingness to ask, a network of at least 10 supporters, and a cause you care about. Anyone who starts is guaranteed to create at least 5x the impact they could have alone. The entire philanthropy platform is dedicated to support them. ➡️ Zero Costs: Every rupee donated is disbursed in full to the supported NGO. We cover all platform and payment gateway fees. ➡️ Credibility: All 260+ NGOs on our platform go through rigorous due diligence. ➡️ Engaging Tools: Fundraiser pages are built to maximize your impact, with gamified milestones and incentives to keep you motivated. I encourage you to have a look at the 1000+ people who have chosen to take that step to help a cause this year here - https://lnkd.in/dknjuXaM You will see people you recognise. Do consider supporting them. Better still, consider adding yourself to this extraordinary set of remarkable people. You will definitely find a cause or an initiative you care for. The only 3 requirements are: personal goodwill, at least 10 people who will support you and a willing to ask them! If you’re passionate about a cause, your network likely shares that passion. All it takes is the willingness to ask. And when you do, you’ll experience something extraordinary—the joy of enabling real change. Do not underestimate your ability to bring change and impact to our world. The world needs people who care. • We’re thrilled to announce the inauguration of our Agroforestry site in Bagepalli, near Bengaluru, marking another milestone in our commitment to conserving natural resources and promoting environmental sustainability. The initiative, named "Pragati," is designed to ensure a brighter future for both local farmers and the surrounding biodiversity. Supported by John Deere India, Pragati follows our in-house Agri-Horti model, where we’ll be supporting 20 farmers with 1 acre each. Our goal is to boost the local ecosystem and increase the farmers’ income by a minimum of 20% over the next two years. As part of this initiative, we are planting 7,820 fruit trees -- including Jackfruit, Guava, Lemon, and Karaunda -- which will be nurtured for the first three years by us, and then maintained by the farmers for the next decade.

  • Excited to share that our project 'Four Wheels One Life' was featured in Sakal news! Through this impactful initiative, we are conducting road safety training sessions for Mumbai’s bus drivers, starting with drivers from Chalo Bus, Mylo, and City Flow. These sessions equip them with essential skills like defensive driving, understanding blind spots, accident prevention strategies, the Good Samaritan Law, and the 10 golden rules of road safety. With plans to train 500 bus drivers, we’re committed to making Mumbai’s roads safer for everyone. Together, we’re driving towards a future where every journey is a safe one!
