The latest example of this phenomenon is the surge in flight bookings across Indian cities, driven by Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh's Dil- Luminati tour. According to data from #World on a Holiday by RateGain, cities like Hyderabad and Guwahati have seen extraordinary spikes in flight bookings, with increases of 295 per cent and 281 per cent, respectively. In a bid to enhance commuter convenience, Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporation Ltd (MMMOCL) has launched a #WhatsApp- based ticketing service which was inaugurated by women commuters as part of the ongoing Navratri celebrations.This #innovative service, now available to passengers on Metro Lines 2A and 7, allows commuters to purchase tickets directly through WhatsApp. eliminating the need for paper tickets and providing a seamless, user- friendly experience, reads the MMMOCL release. Commuters can simply send a 'Hi' to the dedicated WhatsApp number 86526-35500 or scan the QR code displayed at stations to purchase tickets via a conversational interface.   • 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐒𝐓. Foreign airlines in India will not pay #GST on services from head offices to branch offices. Academic institutions with research grants are exempt from GST. The rules start from October 10. Penalties and interests waived for taxpayers complying by March 31, 2025. Taxpayers can correct past input tax credit mistakes through a special window. Foreign airlines operating in India will not be liable to goods and services tax (GST) on services provided by the head office to a branch office, according to a government notification. Academic institutions that have received grants for research will also be exempt from GST, as per another notification. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC) issued several notifications to implement decisions taken at the 54th GST Council meeting. The new rules will be effective from October 10. The tourism office of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has reported an unprecedented surge in visitor numbers during the seven-day National Day holiday, which took place from October 1 to October 7, 2024. Nearly 1 million inbound travelers visited the city, marking a 22.9% increase compared to the same period in 2023 and surpassing the average traveler volume from the pre-pandemic era in 2019. This year’s holiday set new records for both average daily and single-day visitor arrivals, making it the most successful #National Day holiday for Macao since official statistics began. You have been enjoying jeep safaris until now, but this ropeway safari will take your wildlife experience to the next level. If reports are to go by, French ropeway company POMA SAS has proposed what could be the world’s first ropeway system over a tiger reserve. This will allow visitors to spot tigers and other wildlife from above the ground, and get an aerial perspective.   • 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐫 𝐢𝐧 13 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬: 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝. The Indian Railways is all set to finally connect Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, with the rest of India. The railways is launching a third variant of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train, which is set to travel from Kashmir to the national Capital Delhi. The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is expected to be launched from Delhi to Srinagar, once the route becomes operational, likely by January 2025. A senior official while talking to ETNOW.in stated, “The train will connect the national capital with the capital of Jammu and Kashmir.” It is expected that the train would later be extended to Baramulla, towards the North of Kashmir. Visiting Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed visited the Taj Mahal on Tuesday and found hard to find words to describe the 17th century monument’s architectural marvel. “It is tough to describe this mausoleum’s beauty as words simply cannot do it justice. This mesmerising intricacy and attention to detail is a testament to love and architectural excellence,” Muizzu, who is in India on a four-day bilateral visit, wrote in the visitors’ book.
