The IIPH-Delhi team, in collaboration with WHO SEARO, conducted SCORE workshops in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Nepal to provide technical assistance and strengthen data collection for health information systems. During these workshops, PHFI representatives demonstrated the use of SCORE tools, facilitated interactive sessions on data management and reporting, and guided participants in implementing actionable strategies to enhance health data systems. These engagements aimed to map gaps and foster sustainable improvements in health information systems across the regions. SCORE - a global technical package developed by WHO to optimize health data systems, ensuring robust support for universal health coverage and health-related SDGs

“Two-days’ workshop on ‘Research Methodology and Proposal Writing’ for faculty members and post-graduate students of Patna Medical College was held on 20th and 21st December, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Hotel Maurya, Patna. The workshop was jointly conducted by Patna Medical College, Patna, PHFI and IIPH-Delhi. The workshop was attended by more than 50 participants that included Heads of Department, Assistant and Associate Professors and post-graduate students (2nd and 3rd year) across different specialties within the hospital (including OBGY, Anaesthesia, PSM, FMT, Biochemistry, Pathology, etc.). The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the Principal, PMC and Additional Director Health Services, Govt. of Bihar.” Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI)

The Indian Institute of Public Health-Delhi organized its annual event, IGNITE at the India International Centre Annexe, New Delhi on the 6th December, 2024. The theme for the event was “Building Climate Resilient Health Systems : readying the health workforce.” Shri Lav Agarwal, IAS, Principal Resident Commissioner of Andhra Pradesh was the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour included Prof. (Dr.) K. Srinath Reddy, Professor Emeritus, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Zodpey, President, PHFI. The event was attended by more than 100 participants including from UN agencies, NGOs, Institute students and PHFI . The students had a lively interaction with the speakers and other guests.
