As January draws to a close, many people are beginning to think about summer plans, which for music fans means one thing: festivals.
Annual rap and hip-hop music festival Wireless will takes place in London this summer, with tickets officially set to go on sale this week.
While it started as primarily a rock and pop festival, since the early 2010s it has focused on hip-hop with another star-studded lineup in store for 2024.
When is Wireless 2024?
This year’s Wireless Festival returns to Finsbury Park in North London and takes place for three days on Friday 12 July, Saturday 13 July, and Sunday 14 July.
Festival-goers can access the concert from both the train station and tube stop on the Victoria line, Piccadilly line and Northern line.
Who has been confirmed for the lineup?
This year’s festival is promising the biggest names in hip-hop and rap, with Nicki Minaj headlining on the opening night.
Ms Minaj will likely be playing tunes from her latest release Pink Friday 2, her fifth studio album and sequel to her debut album, Pink Friday.
Fans can also look forward to seeing British-American rapper 21 Savage on the Saturday night and Doja Cat will headline on the Sunday after being described by The Wall Street Journal as “a skilled technical rapper with a strong melodic sense and a bold visual presence”.

Meanwhile, more acts are expected to be announced in the coming months to perform over the weekend.
When do tickets go on sale?
Hip-hop fans can get their early bird tickets now from Ticketmaster, with multiple package deals available: three-day weekend tickets, two-day weekend tickets and day tickets.
Payment plans are also on offer which allows fans to pay for the ticket across six months of installments. You can find out more here.
