AbstractAbstract
[en] We discuss the main results of the perturbative QCD for high energy collisions and the phenomenological ideas that come from such theoretical treatment. We demonstrate that large cross section physics is not soft one but rather hard and so could be considered in the perturbative QCD. The new approach for high energy interaction is formulated and the description of the main experimentally observed properties of the typical events is given

AbstractAbstract
[en] The connection of the power behavior of factorial moments with fractal rapidity event character is discussed. The fractal structure is not necessarily intermittent and can be described by conventional dynamical models. The merit of analyzing data with conventional factorial moments, and factorial cumulants, is stressed

[en] I summarize results on hyperon polarization in inclusive hadronic production. A new result on the observation of large Λ0 polarization in the diffractive dissociation of pp → p[Λ0K+] is presented. This channel offers for the first time the possibility to measure direct Λ0 polarization

[en] The coming year will see the establishment near Dallas, Texas, of a new laboratory and the first steps toward construction of a proton-proton collider 84 km in circumference. I report on the steps being taken to organize the laboratory and to plan for the experimental program, and I comment briefly on research and development for the collider and its complement of detectors

AbstractAbstract
[en] We have measured the ψ production at Fermilab using π- and antip beams of 125 GeV/c incident on Be, Cu and W targets. We discuss results concerning the A dependence, the nuclear - target effects on the ψ production and the extraction of the gluon structure functions of the pion and the antiproton

AbstractAbstract
[en] UA1 is continuing its search for new heavy quarks in the muon channel, using 1.3 pb-1 of new data taken during the CERN pantip Collider run in the autumn of 1988. The properties of isolated muons accompanied by jets are consistent with the predictions from the Standard Model but do not show a signal for a new heavy quark. Combining all the UA1 data and using all the channels available, a new lower limit on the mass is obtained at 56 GeV/c2 for the t-quark
