[en] Nonlinear distortion effects of Spiral Reader (SR) measurements are considered as well as methods of their compensation by software. Criteria used to detect distortions and some methods to eliminate them are described. Comparison results of the data handled on SR and on some manual measuring devices are given of the ap interation events with Psub(a)=8.5 GeV/c registered on 1 m hydrogen bubble chamber. It is shown that a spurious curvature which appears due to SR measurements could be reduced by the developed compensation methods to a negligible value

[en] Described herewith is the structure of the algorithm of control of 'Spiral Measurer' scanning system, which ensures automation of most operations of processing chamber pictures and provides the operator with a possibility to interfere in the process of measurement

[en] The tasks, structure and aspects of realization of servodrivers of the PUOS-4 measuring projector (measuring carriage, tape transport) on the installed ELEKTRONIKA-60 microcomputer operating in the multi-machine system of film information preprocessing, are considered. [en] The problem of gauging the frame of reference of a measuring device has been giVen a general approach which consists in finding an approximated inverse transformation on the basis of a partial diagram of a direct transformation which is defined on a given set, D, within the limits of the device measuring range. The following linear models of frame of reference are discussed: a general oblique system; a rectangular system with axes having different scales; a rectangular system with similar scale axes. Linear distortion for two rectangular models has been assessed. It is pointed out that the best approximation to the reduction operation should be found over the D set

[en] The filtering program designed for initial scanning of the data obtained through digitizing by means of JINR spiral reader of the events of the experiment on the study of hadronic stream production of particles with a large transverse momentum (P) is described. This experiment has been fulfilled by means of RISK spectrometer based on a 5 meter streamer chamber. Specific features of filtering algorithms and their implementation on the program are discussed. [en] In this report we describe the software and hardware development afforded to a track follower system in order to increase its capabilities. Thus the two-level track follower can be used as a sixteen-gray-level digitizer. The information given by the new system consists of two position coordinates on a plane and a number which specifies the gray level at that position. The original system gave only the position coordinates and that only accross tracks. (author)
