AbstractAbstract
[en] We show that a recent definition of relative Rényi entropy is monotone under completely positive, trace preserving maps. This proves a recent conjecture of Müller-Lennert et al. AbstractAbstract
[en] In the present work, excitation functions of several reaction residues populated via complete fusion (CF) and incomplete fusion (ICF) processes have been measured at energies ≈4 - 7 MeV/nucleon. The analysis has been done within the framework of statistical model calculations which indicates significant ICF contribution in the α-emitting channels. The deduced complete fusion functions F(x) obtained from the EFs data are compared with the universal fusion function (UFF), where ≈10 - 35% fusion suppression has been observed, indicating the prompt break-up (incomplete fusion) of the projectiles. The suppression factor for the present work strongly follows an exponential relation with the break-up threshold of the projectile. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The CV-17 cyclotron, isochronous, compact, of variable energy is an accelerator of charged particles and is applied in several situations such as: radioisotopes production, neutron production, irradiation damage analysis, activation analysis. During the production of the particle beams, the parts components of the interior of the cyclotron are irradiated and become radioactive. Due the fact of the cyclotron require maintenance, the knowledgement of the radionuclides present is of primordial importance of the view point of the radioprotection. Taking the excitation function of a nuclear reaction is observed that determined reaction may happen and produce a radionuclide. The radionuclides formed in the parts components by charged particles are presented. (V.R.B.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] With the motivation of studying complete and incomplete fusion reactions in a 12C+59Co projectile target system, the excitation functions for (C, p3n), (C, 2p2n), (C, αn), (C, α2n), (C, αp3n) and (C, 2α2n) reactions have been measured up to 80 MeV. The well-known activation technique followed by offline high purity Ge γ-ray spectroscopy was used. The measured experimental values were compared with the statistical model calculations by using the ALICE-91 and CASCADE codes. For the calculations obtained by CASCADE, the variation of parameter Fθ, which is the ratio of actual moment of inertia to the rigid body value have also been studied. Considerable enhancement of the measured excitation functions compared to theoretical predictions for some channels clearly indicates the presence of incomplete fusion with complete fusion in the present projectile energy range. The measurements of forward recoil range distribution of evaporation residues at 80 MeV projectile energy confirm these observations. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The excitation functions for reaction residues populated via In, In, In, In, Cd, Sn and Sn channels were measured over the proton energy range of 8–22 MeV using stacked foil activation technique. Theoretical analysis of the data were performed within the framework of two statistical model codes EMPIRE-3.2 and TALYS-1.8. Isomeric cross section ratio for isomeric pairs , , , and were determined for the first time. The dependence of isomeric cross section ratio on various factors are analysed.

AbstractAbstract
[en] The astrophysical S-factor for "1"6O+"1"6O is investigated within the adiabatic molecular picture. It very well explains the available experimental data. The collective radial mass causes a pronounced resonant structure in the S-factor excitation function, providing a motivation for measuring the "1"6O+"1"6O fusion cross section at deep sub-barrier energies.
