AbstractAbstract
[en] High spin states have been studied in the nucleus 100Pd with the aim of investigating the novel phenomenon of ''antimagnetic rotation.'' A cascade of four ''rotational-band-like'' transitions is proposed as corresponding to antimagnetic rotation, based on the observed spectroscopic properties and a comparison with calculations in the configuration-dependent cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky formalism

AbstractAbstract
[en] The role of N = 45 in demarcating collective from single-particle behavior for odd-mass nuclei near Z=40 has been noted. High spin states in 85Zr, the only such N = 45 nucleus for which a high spin decay scheme has not been published, were populated relatively weakly in a GAMMASPHERE/MICROBALL experiment (32S on 58Ni at 135 MeV). Identification of 85Zr was facilitated by charged particle coincidences observed with MICROBALL. Three-fold γ-ray coincidences from GAMMASPHERE produced γ-gated γarrays for discrimination against stronger channels. Levels to spin 41/2 have been observed. The structure of 85Zr will be discussed in terms of systematics

AbstractAbstract
[en] Isomers for elements far a way from line of stability are a new field for research to produce artificial isomers that can store considerable amount of energy in small amount of mass without the dangerous hazards on life and environment. These isomers could have very short life time or very long one 10th and 100th of years. It will be possible to get the stored energy by stimulated emission . The purpose of this work to use a theorical model based on Bcs method to find out the possible isomers in the mass reg on 178-192 even -even isotopes so that experimentalists can concentrate their research on these predicted isomers.

AbstractAbstract
[en] Results are presented and a discussion is made of two experiments carried out mainly to confirm superdeformation in 180Os. In the first part some previous results and the relevant experimental details will be given. The experimental results will be subsequently presented divided in those which correspond to γ-γ correlation analysis and conventional discrete γ-ray spectroscopy analysis, respectively. A new high-K isomeric decay observed in this nucleus will be further discussed. Some general conclusions will also be given. (author). 22 refs., 9 figs
