[en] The 22nd meeting of the International Network of Nuclear Structure and Decay Data Evaluators was convened at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, USA, from 22 to 26 May 2017 under the auspices of the IAEA Nuclear Data Section. This meeting was attended by 38 scientists from 12 Member States and the IAEA, all of whom are concerned primarily with the measurement, evaluation and dissemination of nuclear structure and decay data. A summary of the meeting, data centre reports, various proposals considered, technical discussions, actions agreed by the participants, and the resulting recommendations/conclusions are presented within this document.

[en] The list of evaluated neutron data libraries in Geant4 format distributed by the IAEA nuclear data service has been updated with six new releases: JEFF-3.3, JEFF-3.2, ENDF/B-VIII.0, ENDF/B-VII.1, BROND-3.1 and JENDL-4.0u (version 2016/1/6). In this report we provide some information concerning the transformation of these six new releases from the ENDF-6 data format into the Geant4 format. In addition, we present a comparison between results obtained with Geant4 and MCNP6 when using these libraries. (author)

[en] For many years, nuclear structure and decay data have been compiled and disseminated by an International Network of Nuclear Structure and Decay Data (NSDD) evaluators under the auspices of the International Nuclear Data Committee (INDC) of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In this lecture I will discuss the kinds of data that are available and describe various ways to obtain this information. We will learn about some of the publications that are available and Internet sources of nuclear data. You will be introduced to Isotope Explorer software for retrieving and displaying nuclear structure and radioactive decay data. The on-line resources Table of Radioactive Isotopes, PGAA Database Viewer, Nuclear Science Reference Search, Table of Isotopes Educational Website, and other information sources will be discussed. Exercises will be provided to increase your ability to understand, access, and use nuclear data

[en] On 2nd June we celebrated the anniversary of 50 years of NDS’s existence. There was a collection of photographs and computer equipment covering the past five decades and it was very obvious what really significant advances have been made by our colleagues over the years. To try and capture the spirit of this really interesting event we include some photographs here. In the week that followed, the 30th INDC meeting was held where we reviewed the recent work and heard excellent advice about our plans for the next biennium. INDC also reached the milestone of thirty meetings stretching back to the founding of the Section. [en] The International Nuclear Data Committee (INDC) at its Fifth Meeting in Vienna in July 1972 decided to issue henceforth a 'Technical Minutes' of each of its meetings for distribution to scientists interested in the production, evaluation and use of nuclear data. These minutes contain information of a technical nature which was presented and discussed at the INDC meeting. The numbering of items in the table of contents is in accord with the item numbers on the INDC agenda.
